Audio books purchased from the iTunes store are added to Category Audio book in iTunes automatically. You can import audio books purchased elsewhere or imported from a CD to iTunes. iTunes detects the audio book as a song, so you must take some additional steps to place it in the correct category.
Open iTunes and drag the files to audio book library to import. If you have more than one file, click the first, hold down Shift and click the last to select a whole before dragging them into the iTunes window.
Click the playlist Added New on the left side of the window of iTunes in the section lists . Click the first audio book file and hold down Shift and click the last file audio book.
Click Get Info from the menu File . Enter the name of the author in the field artist and the name of the book in the field Album . Click the tab options at the top of the info window.
Click the option Audiolibro the drop-down media type . Click the check box Remember playback position . Thus, iTunes and the iPod will remember where you stopped if you pause the audio book
Click OK to close the information window and save changes. Click Books section Library . Double-click the newly imported audio book to see the individual audio files.
Click the field name of the audio tracks that you have to change and type a new name. You may have to change the names of the audio tracks to the correct order. For example, if you import files named "Channel 1", "C2", "C3" C10 "," and so on, sound chapter 10 after chapter 1. To solve this problem, you can rename the files to "C01", "CH02", etc..
Connect your iPod to your computer. If you have iTunes set to sync automatically, wait for iTunes to load the audio book on iPod. If you have enabled manual synchronization, drag the audio book on the iPod on the left side of the iTunes window, and click the button Synchronize .
Click the triangular eject button next to the iPod icon, and then disconnect it from the computer. Audio books will be available in a section Audio books separated from the main menu of the iPod, not in the Music section.

Advice
- Audio books will not be included when the random function is used iPod.
- Some sites can provide books audio books in iTunes format ready and will appear in the Books section with all the right features an audio book.
