Lemon is a natural cleanser , disinfectant very versatile and has a wonderful smell and a high citric acid content. Lemon juice is one of the best natural cleaners because of its antibacterial properties, and best of all, probably already have one in your refrigerator.
When cleaning with lemons always rinse with warm soapy water and dry with a clean cloth. Usually lemon not damage materials around what you are cleaning, such as cloth or wood. One of the few things that can not be cleaned with lemon is brass plated and the juice will damage the material. Other than that, here's a list of things to clean with lemons.
1. Use a half lemon and salt to clean even the most discolored bronze (real bronze, not brass). Beware of antique pieces. Always test on a small area before cleaning the entire piece.
