Foods to avoid to avoid Acidity
Before remedy Acidity is important to avoid. For this reason, we give our first home remedy to combat acidity , avoid a number of foods that produce it. These foods that cause acidity are:

  • Drinks: try to avoid alcoholic beverages, caffeinated drinks, carbonated and acidic fruits and juices.
  • Chocolate
  • Very fatty and very spicy.
  • Mint
  • Tomato, raw onion and garlic
  • Pepper and vinegar


Sodium bicarbonate to combat acidity
Put in a glass of water a teaspoon of baking soda . Take this mixture once a day.
  • Note: Do not use this remedy if you suffer from hypertension or have fluid retention.
Chamomile to fight acidity
Boil a handful of flowers of chamomile in a pot filled with a glass of water for 3 or 4 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, strain and take it before meals.

The aloe vera for acidity
Drink 30 to 40 milliliters of aloe vera juice every day (and that sell better prepared for oral use and not take it directly from the plant). The aloe vera or aloe normalizes the pH of the stomach and reduces stomach acidity favoring the balance of intestinal flora.

Other things we can do to avoid acidity
In addition to avoid eating the foods mentioned in paragraph 1 and the home remedies that I have explained, there are other things that will prevent our acidity :
  • Do not go to sleep until at least two hours after eating. trying to pass the dinner if you want to go to bed soon.
  • At bedtime try to do it with the top of the body somewhat raised (from waist to above). In the market sell some cribs that have this feature.
  • Try not to exercise right after eating. Expect to digest to do so.
  • Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes tailored to our stomach as it can pressure us.
  • Try to eat slowly and chew slowly and deliberately.
  • Try not to drink water during the meal. It is better to drink it before or after.
