How to Make Homemade Coconut Lotion Bars

Earlier we posted a tutorial on how to make coconut moisturizer . And we have mentioned some of the many benefits of coconut oil , and relieve skin conditions. It also soothes, relieves dryness and flaking. Topically applied coconut oil helps prevent wrinkles , sagging skin and age spots. Coconut oil is really amazing.


Coconut Lotion Bars

Today we are sharing a recipe for making lotion bars coconut oil. These bars are very good for everyone, especially those who live in warmer areas and do not want your moisturizer melts. This lotion bar is easy to do and only has 3 ingredients.


Lotion Bar Coconut Oil


Ingredients


  • 1 part Coconut Oil
  • 1 part pure bee wax
  • Essential oils (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat the coconut oil and beeswax in a saucepan over low heat. The process is faster if you cut the beeswax into small pieces as it takes a while to melt. Once the wax is melted add oil and essential oils of your choice, such as vanilla and lavender. Just add a few drops if you are sensitive to strong fragrances.

2. Pour the coconut oil and melted beeswax lotion bar molds or muffin tins. Let sit until cool. They can also be placed in the refrigerator if you need to accelerate the process. Did I mention that these natural bars make good gifts?

Using lotions stick

You need to rub the bar in your hands until warm, then apply to the skin as a lotion after every shower.
