How to using cornstarch board

You can make your own liquid starch to iron mixing ½ cup cornstarch and 2 cups water in a spray bottle. Although each shirt should be sprayed, expect the starch penetrates the fabric, and then iron it. But there is a new and much, much easier to iron clothes, using corn starch.

Instructions

1. Dissolve 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 cup cold water.

2. Put the machine on the rinse cycle. Once the machine is filled with water, pour the mixture. (If you have a front loading machine, pour in the compartment softener .

3. Put clean shirts in the washing machine.

4. After the cycle is finished, put the shirts in the dryer for 20 minutes. Then iron the shirts while they are still wet.

Advice

This is a great time saver. It also gives the opportunity to book a specific time for ironing. Since they have to be ironed wet, it is more efficient and less likely to be distracted from the task once started.

This also works great for napkins and tablecloths.

This process works best with cotton and / or blended fabrics. It is also important to know that the starchy material can develop mold and attract insects, so should only be used on clothing or fabrics to be used and not those stored.
