How to make your own home freshener

If you like the clean, fresh scent of citrus, make your own home freshener citrus is a delicious way to fragrance all the time. This spray is ideal to perfume the air in your home or leave in bags drying cabinets.

Ingredients

  • Distilled water
  • Citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, etc.. According to your preference).
  • A few drops of pure alcohol as a preservative (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the water into a jug.
  2. Pele whole citrus peel.
  3. Let the shells in the water jug.
  4. Tape firmly. Place the jar aside in a cool, dry place.
  5. Shake the bottle, smell and remove the jar every day. Let stand at least overnight. Strain water using a filter cloth or coffee once the product has taken the fragrance you like.
  6. Pour into a spray bottle.
  7. Spray in the air or in bags of citrus once you have the desired fragrance.

Advice

Experiment with different citrus fruits in different seasons, the time of the season can affect the fragrance.
This is a lightly scented spray; Clearly that has not been distilled or created from ingredients or essential oils are concentrated and therefore very light and brief fragrance. Still, it is a cool and easy to make fragrant spray.
Because the spray does not have any alcohol to preserve, must be used within a month and stored in a cool dark place. The jug should be used preferably dark to avoid sunlight or disintegration of organic content. Alternatively, add a few drops of pure alcohol, such as vodka to give more power preservative.
